Award for Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology

Description:

Recognizes individuals who, in the opinion of the Committee on Fellows and Awards and the Board of Director of the association, have made a significant contribution to education and training in psychology in Canada. Recipients must meet at least one of the following criteria: influenced education and training through excellence or leadership as a teacher; influenced the methods and settings utilised in education and training through their work as a teacher, researcher, or supervisor; enhanced the knowledge base in education and training through scholarship in thos areas; or, has brought about changes in education and/or training practices through their work.

In whatever form the individual's contributions are regarded as distinguished, the impact of the work shall have been on education and training in psychology in Canada. This award shall be made to members and non-members of CPA, who are either Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
