Submitted by admin on Fri, 2008/02/01 - 10:55am.

Awarding Body:

DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY HEALTH SCIENCES GRADUATE STUDENTS, UOFC

Description:

Recognizes one faculty member in the Department of Community Health Sciences whom graduate students think has had a positive impact upon their learning experience. The award is generally based on teaching ability, not only with regard to teaching a course, but in other capacities as well. For example, if a faculty member is an excellent supervisor or mentor to their students they will be considered.

The Selection Committee each year gets nomination letters, submitted by graduate students, extolling the virtues of a number of professors. These letters are reviewed and discussed by the Selection Committee of three to four students.
