Great teachers communicate effectively with students. How do you ensure that content is presented and communicated clearly?

Presenting a combination of real life patient examples and great pictures (or live patients) to first year students charges them up. Lectures are often very dry. Lectures should not be dry! They should stimulate and excite one to see patients. Students learn with patients, not by just reading a text. Often first year students are engaged in med school when they should be active in searching for learning experience in the wards, in the ER or in clinics. See you there!
